For approximately the last 20 years whilst living in the UK (and overseas) I have been undergoing regular and intensive dental treatment to combat jaw bone and gum disease. This included bridges, deep cleaning, gum surgery, extractions fillings, of all which failed to prevent tooth loss.

It was distressing but inevitable that I would continue to loose good teeth despite ongoing treatment.

I had been told implants were not possible, nor recommended, because of the advanced stage of the jaw bone deterioration and dentures would be my only option. I was devastated.
